NPP Supplies 175 PCEF Bulb Tees to I-95 Section Betsy Ross Interchange (I-95/BRI)

This project rebuilt and improved Interstate 95 between the Bridge Street and Betsy Ross Bridge interchanges in Philadelphia. PennDOT improved the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue interchange and widened and reconstructed I-95 and its bridges from Wheatsheaf Lane to Margaret Street. This 0.8 mile section of I-95 runs through the Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange.

Northeast Prestressed Products, LLC maintains office, manufacturing and storage facilities on a 28-acre site in Cressona, Pennsylvania strategically located near major transportation arteries. The plant, with 80,000 square feet of fully enclosed production area, houses prestress and precast operations, as well as all support activities.

Prestressed Concrete Bulb Tee Beams for the PADOT – Philadelphia County Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange Project. The Northeast Prestressed Products, LLC organization performance from shop drawings to delivery was exceptional. Their team played an intricate part in completing the project on time."

Construction completed in fall 2017. New ramps were built from Aramingo Avenue to the Betsy Ross Bridge, and from the bridge to Aramingo Avenue, along with reconstruction of the ramps from I-95 south to the bridge and Aramingo Avenue, and from Aramingo Avenue to I-95 north and south. The ramps to and from Aramingo Avenue and the Betsy Ross Bridge will open at the completion of BR4 construction.
